Gary Davies BBS CA

Gary is born and bred in Hawkes Bay and has been in the accounting industry for 25 years and has a CA qualification and a BBS from Massey University.

He spent much of the early and mid 1990’s in the UK before returning to Napier.

As well as accounting experience and qualifications, Gary has also spent a number of years managing hospitality sites, including a national chain of well-known café / bars. This has given him the hands-on knowledge to successfully help clients with much more than just their accounting requirements. Through this time, he also gained hospitality qualifications, including Gaming Machine HMT and Gaming Operations and holds his General Managers certificate. He also holds an HSI Industry Assessor qualification, enabling him to train others in gaming and hospitality courses.

Gary was awarded one of ten national ANZ Business Scholarships in 2005.

Vicki Devereux

Vicki was born and raised in Taranaki, moving to the sunny Hawkes Bay in 2006.

Vicki has worked in the accounts field for the past 22 years ranging from Accounts Assistant to Expenses Manager and spent 7 years in the UK where she gained extensive experience in expense accounting.

She holds a National Business Diploma, Diploma in Management and Accounts Technician qualification from the NZ Open polytechnic.

Vicki is married with 3 young children and has a very understanding husband!

Vicki is our MYOB and Ace Payroll expert.

Angie Rawlinson

Angie started out working in the finance department of a book publishing company in 1990 and followed this up by working for several large corporate companies in London in different finance roles.

For the last 5 years while still living in London Angie worked for a TV broadcast design agency in Soho and, during her time there, she went on to be the group financial controller for 4 offices spread worldwide. The training received within these roles has given Angie a superb understanding of systems, and also exposure to various levels of client management.

Angie moved to Napier 3 ½ years ago from London and has been enjoying the bay life-style ever since.

Angie is our Quickbooks and Sage expert.

Janice Potts

Janice was born in Taranaki, (go the Naki!) and has lived in Palmerston North, London, Berkshire, Glencoe, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Wellington, Ashburton. She moved and settled in sunny Hawkes Bay in 2001 – and has no intention of living anywhere else!!!!!!!

Janice has a BBS degree from Massey University, a CA qualification with ICANZ and has been part of the accounting industry both in NZ and the UK for the last 24 years.

Her accounting experience includes working in the public sector, health sector, accounting & management education & training centre, telecommunications, an innovative bus building company, the apple industry, in a couple of winery businesses and a saffron business. The wide range of businesses & industries has allowed Janice to develop her ability to adapt to her clients needs and to bring a wide range of methods and suggestions to assist in her clients businesses going forward.

She lives in Maraekakaho with her 3 young children, a partner, a dog, a cat, 14 sheep, and around 45 thousand saffron corms.

Janice is one of our newest recruits – we are still working out what she is an expert on, although MYOB is a strong point.
